In addition to the other show trial going on in Iran, another one is taking place in the same manner as the previous trial. The accused include Iranians who worked for the British and French embassies and also a French national who has been accused of spying.
Others on trial include Bijan Khajehpour a political analyst, Ahmad Zeidabadi, a reporter, Shahabeddin Tabatabai a campaign official forMousavi, and Ali Tajernia a member of the the Islamic Iran Participation Front.
Clearly they are trying to tie the opposition to foreign elements when it is clear that it is a homegrown movement that only wants to improve the country.
