Following up on this story of rape of prisoners, speaker of Parliament Larijani wants a investigation into what he calls "allegations". This seems to be an attempt to pretend to do something, but it probably won't result into meaningful punishment for those that are guilty. At least officials must admit that these things might of happened and pretend like there is some accountability to the actions of the regime:
"a special Majlis (Parliament) committee had carried out investigations into the situation in [Iranian] jails and the treatment of detainees and it should also look into whether 'jail rape' allegations are true or false"
