Supreme Leader Khamenei didn't take too much of what Rafsanjani said on Friday to heart:

He has not shown any signs of compromise up to this point so it makes sense that he wouldn't now.
Khamenei saying with regard to the reformists, "anybody who drives the society toward insecurity and disorder is a hated person in the view of the Iranian nation, whoever he is."
Maybe he should realize that stealing an election and essentially organizing a coup drives Iranian society towards insecurity and disorder.
