In front of the Iranian Parliament, Ahmadinejad is sworn in for a second term. Significantly Rafsanjani is again a no show along with Mousavi, Khatami, and Karroubi.
There are reports of protests, but it is difficult to tell how big at this point. There is supposedly overwhelming security around the parliament with around 5000 security forces. The regime has to create a police state atmosphere in Tehran to inaugurate a President, clearly this is not a good indication for the rest of Ahmadinejad's presidency.
