As the above picture of a Russian flag burning shows, one of the most popular slogans today was "Death to Russia" which is a new spin on the slogan "Death to America" used during the 1979 Revolution. It shows you that Iranians are not inherently anti-American, but rather they dislike any country that interferes in internal Iranian affairs and supports dictators.
Previously I had outlined the history of Russo-Iranian affairs to see why Russia is the new enemy. Russia has been one of the strongest supporters of this brutal regime and Ahmadinejad took a trip to Russia just two days after the fraudulent election. Iranians reject all foreign interference in their country and are now demanding that Russia stop supporting this illegitimate government.
