It seems that the arm pulling by Khamenei and Larijani has worked since 18 of 21 nominees for the cabinet have been approved. 3 of his nominees were rejected, but this is far less than was expected.
It is interesting to see that Khamenei and the hardliners are willing to work with Ahmadinejad in an attempt to perhaps smooth over differences. We will see how long this relationship is able to last.
