Two of the highest religious figures in Iran Ayatollahs Montazeri and Sanei met to discuss the current situation. They are both strong supporters of the green movement and critics of the regime. According to Mousavi's Facebook,"In this meeting they expressed deep concern regarding the current critical situation of the country and once again condemned the illegal arrests of the innocent people after the election and at the end they prayed for the release of the political prisoners and for the country to be saved from the current crisis."
